My friend Abbey and I hung out at my house last night and did a lot of unusual and a few ordinary things. In no particular order, I give you: Two Funky Chickens With Nothing To Do
1. Made up a dance routine involving direct eye contact while slowly dropping into squats, lifting one leg up at a time with foot flexed, methodical chicken flaps, kicking out the kinks, and sexual hip twists. Practiced to Chicago's "Street Player" on vinyl.
2. Listened to a lot of 70's music on the turntable: Sugar Hill Gang, Chicago, BeeGees, and Donna Summer....with a bit of 40's big band thrown in.
3. Watched "Easy A" for the umpteenth time, after starting three other movies and deciding we weren't in the mood for anything but Emma Stone singing "Pocket Full of Sunshine".
4. Stalked people on Facebook.
5. Talked about people we intensely dislike/hate/are inexplicably annoyed by.
6. Finally went to bed at 2 am!
Yeah, so that was my fantastical evening of excitement and female bonding.
